Dr Angstetra is a consultant O&G staff specialist at Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals, he is conjoint senior lecturer with Griffith University, and practices at the New Gold Coast Private Hospital.
Dr Angstetra has started consulting from Pacific Specialist Centre, Ormeau. He has a keen interest in developing and applying minimally invasive surgery for all benign diseases of the female reproductive tract, his passion for advanced gynecological laparoscopic surgery see him fit the role as the trainingsite director of Australian Gynecological Endoscopy Society (AGES) and as O&G training supervisor for RANZCOG training program. He has published multiple articles in peer reviewed journals and presented multiple papers at local, national and international meetings.
Dr Angstetra graduated from the University of NSW in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. He completed his general obstetric and gynecology training through John Hunter Hospital training network in Newcastle before undergoing two and a half years of advanced gynecological endoscopic training at Sydney South West Area Health Service. In 2011, Dr Angstetra worked as a pelvic surgical Fellow at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, mastering the advanced surgical treatment of endometriosis and complex pelvic surgery.
Dr Angstetra offers a range of obstetrics and gynaecological services including pregnancy, office gynaecology, endometriosis, laparoscopic adnexa surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic pelvic floor repair, prolapse, infertility, contraception, fibroid, abnormal pap smear and chronic pelvic pain.

He is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Malay and Chinese Hokkien.
